Guests are welcomed with the vibrant sounds of Bola Bola (traditional live music) and a cup of Moroccan mint tea, a timeless symbol of hospitality. Followed by reception at L Mansion palace.
A ceremony of two worlds - the walk down the aisle in the European tradition, with the marriage initiated by an adoul, the Moroccan officiant.
The bride will wear a beautifully hand-sewn traditional Takchita, adorned with exquisite jewellery, as she is carried into the reception on the Amariya - an ornate ceremonial platform hoisted high into the air. Led by musicians playing traditional Moroccan music, the ceremony is vibrant, joyful and impossible not to dance to! All guests are invited to follow the procession, celebrating the newlyweds.
The bride and groom are carried into the celebration on decorated ceremonial platforms, dressed in green, a colour that symbolises blessing, renewal and the hope for a prosperous future together. During this cherished tradition, henna is applied to the bride's hands as a symbol of love, protection and good fortune.

Dancing until 3 AM (or 5, for the brave) - live Moroccan orchestra, Bulgarian music, and an international DJ under the Marrakech sky.

Stay: Marrakech offers plenty of options for your stay, from luxurious hotels to the traditional riads in the city centre (Medina). It's easiest to find your preferred option on Booking or AirBnB.
Transport: We will provide shuttles from several main areas and hotels to take guests to and from our chosen venues. As such, we recommend you pick accommodation according to your preference, as opposed to proximity to our venues.

In keeping with our traditions, this will be an alcohol-free wedding. Non-alcoholic beer, wine and cocktails will be served for you to enjoy.
Wear whatever you love - there are no restrictions. Dresses of any style, hair however you like it; Marrakech is a relaxed, cosmopolitan city and our celebrations are too.
Airport: Marrakech Menara (RAK).
Visa: not required for most visitors - just have your accommodation address handy for the arrival form.
Transfers: taxis, ride apps and car hire are all available at the airport; easiest arranged in advance through your hotel.
Weather: early October in Marrakech is typically warm and dry - around 29°C (84°F) by day, cooling to around 15°C (59°F) after dark. Perfect for the gardens, but bring a layer for the desert evening.
On foot: the Medina is best explored walking.
Apps: Careem and Uber both work with in-app payment; InDrive is cheaper but cash-only.
Taxis: everywhere and inexpensive, but cash only - show the driver your destination on your phone.
Cards are fine in hotels and modern restaurants; carry dirhams (MAD) in cash for the souks and small shops - easy to withdraw at the airport or in town.
Tipping: around 10-20% is appreciated, never required.
Street food is one of the city's great joys - fresh juices, grills and pastries are safe bets.
Haggling in the souks is expected - enjoy it! Most vendors speak French, and English is common enough.
Historic sights charge small entrance fees.
